Another challenge is that our customers consider our solutions “Mission-Critical” and require these updates to happen at times that will minimize the impact on operations. This generally means between 1:00 am – 4:00 am in their local time zone. With customers across 11 time zones, this requires a 24x7 operation. At first, we managed the upgrade efforts by utilizing the staff we had in our New York and Raleigh NC offices. This required employees to work overnight shifts as well as their daytime hours. It did not take long for us to realize this method would not support the growth we were achieving. We needed to increase staff and adopt a “follow-the-sun” approach. We needed something which would provide us a 24x7 staff across multiple time zones. This is when we turned to Braves Technologies.
