Is there a fee that job
seekers pay Braves Technologies for their services?
Braves Technologies does not charge our
candidates a fee for any of our services. In a
contract IT staffing scenario, Braves Technologies
will pay the respective consultant their desired
hourly rate, and then negotiate a bill rate with our
client. With any permanent placement, our client is
responsible for paying Braves Technologies a
percentage of the candidate’s annual first year
salary as the placement fee.
How does Braves
Technologies determine my hourly rate with a
contract position?
There are many factors that are taken into account
when determining an IT contractor’s hourly rate.
First, what did he or she make in their last
position? The rate may further be increased or
decreased depending upon the duration of the
assignment. Second, the client’s budget for this
position must be analyzed to determine how much
flexibility Braves Technologies will have in our
rates. Final factors include job responsibilities
and other variables such as travel.
How often are the IT job
postings on the Braves Technologies’ website
updated?
Braves Technologies’ website is
simultaneously updated the minute we enter a new IT
job into our database. Therefore, every position
listed on our website is up to date. In addition,
candidates will receive our “Automatic E-mail IT Job
Alert” once a new position is available. This
program allows the job seeker to receive up-to-date
notifications of all new job
opportunities/requirements.
Does Braves Technologies
provide health benefits with contract positions?
Yes, every Braves Technologies consultant is
immediately eligible to obtain health and dental
insurance and the deductions are even withheld from
the consultant’s paycheck on a pre-tax basis.
Which geographical areas
can Braves Technologies provide IT contractors or
full-time hires?
Braves Technologies is headquartered outside
of Atlanta, GA. The majority of our IT jobs are
located in Atlanta and throughout the Southeastern
parts of the country, however, we also work with
clients on a national basis and has the ability to
place IT consultants or full-time employees anywhere
in the country. In fact, Braves Technologies has
successfully placed people in just over 20 different
states across the country.
